This was a combination business trip to Taiwan and a vacation to Singapore & Malaysia.  Sue and I traveled with long time friend Mark and while in Taiwan we cashed in some of my company stock and that made for a nice trip to Singapore (tax wise). We then took a tour up to the old Portuguese trading town of Malacca in Malaysia. This proved to be quite an experience; the three of us had just came out of a very old Buddhist Temple when the ceiling collapsed in what I can only describe as an explosion of smoke & dust. There was complete devastation and many things where lost forever.
